Today marks the beginning of the Higher Secondary or Class 12 board examinations conducted by the Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE). The exams commenced at 12 PM across the state and are set to conclude on March 30, according to TBSE President Dr. Dhananajoy Gan Chowdhury.
The first paper, English, was promptly administered at noon today. This year, a total of 25,345 students are participating in the Higher Secondary examinations, highlighting the significance of this academic milestone for the youth, as emphasized by Dr. Chowdhury.
To ensure smooth conduct, a network of 60 centers and 98 venues has been established across the state. These centers are strategically located across different districts, with 7 in Dhalai, 6 in Gomati, 3 in Khowai, 5 in the North District, 8 each in Sepahijala and South Districts, 3 in Unakoti, and 20 in the West District.
Dr. Chowdhury emphasized the meticulous planning involved in organizing the examinations in various districts to ensure accessibility and convenience for all students. This planning reflects the commitment of TBSE to maintain the integrity and fairness of the evaluation process.
The Class 12 examination schedule includes subjects such as Language Paper (Bangla, Hindi, Kokborok, Mizo), Chemistry, Political Science, Business Studies, Education, Physics, Accountancy, Biology, History, Mathematics, Philosophy, Economics, Psychology, Geography, Sanskrit, Arabic, Statistics, Sociology, Computer Science, Music, and vocational subjects. Each subject has been assigned a specific date from March 1 to March 30.
Additionally, Class 10 examinations are scheduled to commence on March 2 and continue until March 23.
