HIRA development leads Tripura emerge best state in country: Yogi

The Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Wednesday appealed to the people of Tripura to vote for the BJP and claimed that Tripura emerged as the best state in the country in terms of infrastructural development.

“The way the progress of development took place in Tripura during the last five years of the “double-engine government”, the state has emerged as the best state in the country,” he said, while addressing a party campaign at Kumarghat in support of the party candidate Sudhangsu Das from Fatikroy Assembly Constituency in Dhalai district.

“Tripura witnessed infrastructural development in terms of highways, internet-ways, railways and airways during the past five years. The BJP government had honoured the sentiments of the tribal groups by renaming the Agartala airport in the honour of Tripura Maharaja,” he claimed on Wednesday.

The UP Chief Minister however underlined the welfare schemes of the BJP government at the centre and state and said that people of this state are largely benefited by the welfare schemes of the ‘double-engine’ government.
