ICFAI University Tripura this academic session launched five new courses—B.Com, D.P.Ed, MCA (lateral entry), M.Ed, M.Ed.Spl.Edu (MR) along with full time programmes in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English.
Pro-Vice Chancellor of the University Prof. Biplab Halder today said, ICFAI University is one of the premier institutions of the state providing quality education and professional courses with excellence. And, to cope with the increasing demand of all these courses, the university had unanimously decided to introduce these five programmes in the University.
Not only this, the university is also planning to introduce more professional courses like Nursing, Journalism and other paramedical courses, he added while addressing a press conference at Agartala Press Club this evening.
Replying to a question on placement, he said, the placement ratio over the years was impressive. This year also, more than 50% of total students got jobs through campus placement.
In management programmes, almost 100% students already have their jobs ready, he informed the media. He also highlighted university’s recent tie ups with national and international level institutions all over the country.
