Jharna Debbarma officially assumed the chair of the seventh Chairperson of the Tripura commission for Women succeeding Barnali Goswami. The ceremonial handover took place on Wednesday amid warm welcomes from the dedicated staff of the commission.
Established in 1994, the Women's Commission has been at the forefront of addressing the burgeoning issues faced by women, striving tirelessly for their empowerment and well-being.
