Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha today announced that BJP All India National President JP Nadda and National General Secretary (Org) B.L. Santosh will be arriving on March 9 to attend the two-year celebration of the present state government at Swami Vivekananda Maidan.
Addressing an organizational meeting this evening, Dr. Saha said that on March 2, when the election results were declared, the CPI(M) and Congress attempted to create confusion by claiming that the BJP would not return to power.
"We cannot forget that day. People have faith in us and in Prime Minister Narendra Modi, which is why they failed to defeat us, and we formed the government. I want to thank everyone. On March 8, the cabinet was formed. Our government has been working for the people and has taken many developmental steps. We held a meeting at our party office with Morcha leaders, MLAs, and Ministers. The MLAs and Ministers have also started holding meetings in their respective constituencies. BJP All India National President JP Nadda is arriving on March 9. We have received confirmation. He will arrive at 11 AM, and the event will conclude at 1:30 PM at Swami Vivekananda Maidan. I have also discussed the matter. This is truly a matter of happiness," he said.
The Chief Minister stated that the event will mark the two-year anniversary of the current government.
"I also spoke with B.L. Santosh, National General Secretary (Org), and this morning, we received confirmation of his arrival. Our party is solely focused on development. We only talk about development. We have 56 booths, and we must ensure that everyone reaches the venue on time. This program requires the presence of all for its success. We will also highlight our achievements for the people. In the last two years, we have worked tirelessly and solved many problems," he added.
