The Little Bhavanites' Sports Spectra-2025 for the Pre-Primary section was held on Saturday in the premises of Bhavan's Tripura Vidyamandir at Narsingarh.
President of Tripura Sports Journalist Club and Sports Editor Saraju Chakraborty, renowned cricketer of the state and ex-Bhavanite Ambesha Das was present as Special Guest in the event. The ceremony began with the lightning and installation of the sacred torch by the cricketer Ambesha Das.
The School Flag was hoisted by Saraju Chakraborty and the Sports Flag by the Chairman of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Agartala Kendra, Debashis Chakraborty (Retired IFS). Principal of the school Swapna Shome was also present and highlighted the activities of the school in her speech.
Swapna Shome along with the Head Mistress of the school Pompi Majumdar accompanied by some tiny tots released Balloons and Pigeons.
Apart from mental and physical development of children, these sports events are organized to inculcate the spirit of harmony and cooperation. Besides, various fun and educational games, a colourful Cultural Programme was also presented in the event. Parents also participated in this event with their children, which added a new dimension to the entire event.
Besides awarding the best 3 Medals for every event to the winners, certificates were also awarded by the guests to encourage all the children who participated in the competition.
