Madhyamik examination begins peacefully across 68 centers

AGARTALA:

The Madhyamik (Secondary) Examination conducted by the Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) commenced today across the state with the English subject examination for both Madhyamik and Madrasa Alim candidates. The first day of the examination was conducted smoothly and peacefully across all 68 designated examination centers.

A total of 29,075 students had registered for the English examination, comprising 13,549 boys and 15,526 girls. Of these, 28,919 students appeared for the exam, maintaining an impressive attendance rate of 99.46 percent. The number of absentees stood at 156, including 73 boys and 83 girls.

To oversee the conduct of the examination, TBSE President Dr. Dhananjay Ganachowdhury and the Board’s Officer on Special Duty (OSD) Jyotirmoy Roy visited multiple examination centers, including Akhaliachhara Secondary School, Tarapur Higher Secondary School, Kamalghat Higher Secondary School, and Patunagar Higher Secondary School.

The examination schedule will continue as planned, with the Higher Secondary, Madrasa Fazil Arts, and Madrasa Fazil Theology examinations set to be held on February 27. On this date, students will appear for Bengali, Hindi, Kokborok, and Mizo subjects.

The TBSE has assured that all necessary arrangements have been made to ensure a fair and hassle-free examination process for all students across the state.
