Mayor Dipak Majumder accompanied by MLA Ratan Chakraborty and Corporator Uttam Ghosh, undertook an extensive visit to Ward No. 9 of Agartala Municipal Corporation today in response to consistent grievances raised by local residents.
Recognizing the array of difficulties confronted by the community, Mayor Majumder guaranteed prompt actions to tackle these challenges decisively.
During the inspection, the Mayor reaffirmed the commitment of both the state government and AMC to lead comprehensive development endeavors. The Mayor emphasized the transparency in financial allocation, facilitated by the collaborative endeavors of the government and AMC, as a propelling force driving the accelerated advancement projects.
Majumder highlighted that immediate measures will be adopted to rectify the road and drainage concerns affecting the Jatrabari Mariam Nagar locality within Ward No. 9.
He noted that prior administrative endeavors, guided by the erstwhile Left-led AMC, had suffered due to a lack of foresight and strategic planning. Consequently, the area encountered persistent water logging issues during the monsoon seasons.
In sharp contrast, the Mayor conveyed his administration's resolute determination to proactively tackle the community's apprehensions and provide efficacious remedies.
