Distributing cold drinking water, towel caps and refreshing watermelons, Mayor Majumder extended a helping hand to those battling the relentless heat on Tuesday, at the premises of AD Nagar School.
During the event, Mayor Majumder emphasized the urgency of addressing the extreme conditions prevailing in the state and applauded the unwavering dedication of sanitation workers. Despite the scorching temperatures, these workers continue to fulfill their duties diligently.
Agartala and the entire state are facing unprecedented heat," Mayor Majumder acknowledged. "Despite the adversities, the sanitation workers of the municipal corporation persevere in their responsibilities. It is incumbent upon us to provide them with respite from this oppressive weather."
In addition to today's relief efforts, Mayor Majumder announced plans for a large-scale blood donation camp scheduled for tomorrow in Ramnagar. This initiative seeks to alleviate the critical blood shortage and cater to the urgent medical requirements of the state.
