In a significant stride towards its transformation into a smart city, Agartala has taken a crucial step by strategically placing public toilets for the convenience of pedestrians. Ward No. 39 of Agartala Municipal Corporation inaugurated a state-of-the-art community toilet, which was officially opened to the public on Wednesday.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony was graced by none other than Mayor Dipak Majumder of AMC, who, alongside distinguished guests including MLA Mina Rani Sarkar and AMC Corporator Alak Roy, marked the event with an air of celebration.

This newly constructed public toilet, strategically positioned next to Beltali Kali Mandir in Ward No. 39, stands as a testament to the city's commitment to modernizing its infrastructure.
