Agartala Municipal Corporation Mayor Dipak Majumder today emphasized the need to encourage students to think creatively and innovatively, moving beyond traditional approaches.
“The present age is the digital age; therefore, students should be motivated to think creatively and innovatively beyond traditional methods. Students should contemplate how to make science more accessible in everyday life. Only then will the children's scientific exhibition be truly worthwhile,” stated Mayor Majumder.
Mayor Dipak Majumder made these remarks while inaugurating the two-day district-level children's science exhibition and a one-day science-based discussion cycle at Umakanta Academy auditorium today.
During the inauguration, Mayor Majumder highlighted that students are the future of the country and will eventually lead the state. He emphasized that every student possesses latent talent, and with consistent practice, it can be nurtured. The Mayor urged students to consider how science can progress in alignment with the current era.
He acknowledged the achievements of the state's students in the national-level science exhibition last year and congratulated the participants.
