A minor reshuffle has taken place in Tripura Police where 17 TPS and IPS officers, including controversial TPS officer Prasun Kanti Tripura, were transferred.
In an order, Md. H. Rahaman, under secretary, has transferred Prasun Kanti Tripura from SDPO Amtali to Assistant Commandant of TSR 13th battalion. The transfer came after a series of allegations against Tripura following an accident involving his son and daughter. A complaint against Tripura was also filed with the SP West, Tripura Police Accountability Commission, and Tripura Human Rights Commission for allegedly misusing power.
The state government has transferred Prabir Majumder (IPS) from SP, MTF, to AIGP (Welfare) PHQ, replacing Kishan Kumar, who will now take charge of SP, MTF.
Prasenjit Ghosh, TPS Commandant TSR 15th battalion, will take charge of Commandant ACH Rama Rao Training Centre, replacing Rajib Sengupta TPS, who will take charge as Commandant TSR 15th battalion.
Rajib Sutradhar, TPS, will take charge of Additional SP Sepahijala from Additional SP Khowai, replacing Prabir Paul.
Subrata Barman is the new SDPO of NCC, while Parmita Pandey is posted as Dy SP SB.
Himadri Prasad Das, who was SDPO Jirania, is posted and transferred as Dy SP TPCB.
Kamal Krishna Kalai is now SDPO Jirania, and Bijoy Sen is transferred to DySP North from SDPO Mohanpur.
Kamal Bikas Majumder is transferred to SDPO Mohanpur, Deba Prasad Das SDPO Sadar is transferred to Dy SP Special Branch, Dulal Datta is the new SDPO Sadar, and Sankar Chandra Das will be posted as SDPO Amtali.
