In a heartwarming Diwali celebration, Union Minister of State Pratima Bhoumik spent meaningful moments with Border Security Force (BSF) soldiers at the Akhaura Integrated Check Post, illuminating the border with the spirit of the festival of lights.
On the occasion of Diwali, Minister Bhoumik visited the Akhaura Integrated Check Post, where she lit the ceremonial lamp, symbolizing the triumph of light over darkness. The minister then actively participated in the retreat at the check post, engaging in friendly exchanges with Border Security Force (BSF) officers and jawans.
Extending the joy of Diwali to those on duty, Bhoumik shared sweets with Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) officials stationed at the Akhaura border. The festive spirit was palpable as the minister lit lamps with BSF jawans, fostering camaraderie and solidarity at the border.
Expressing Diwali greetings, she emphasized the tradition of BFF jawans sharing the joy of the festival each year, reinforcing the unity of the state in celebrating Diwali together. Despite the distance from home, the minister conveyed that their hearts were united in the spirit of the festival.
