Union Minister of State for Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Electronics & IT Rajeev Chandrasekhar will be visiting Agartala tomorrow on a days visit to the state. During this tour, the Union Minister will grace the inauguration of a skill training project at Rabindra Shatabarshiki Bhawan at Agartala tomorrow.
The program, titled ‘Heartland Tripura’, is an initiative of the National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology under the Ministry of Electronics & IT. The event will take place on October 19. Union Minister Pratima Bhoumik, state Industries & Commerce Minister Santana Chakma will also grace the program.
Under this going-to-be launched project, youth from Eng, IT and Science background will be provided skill development training to get hired by Multi-National companies.
The Minister Chandrasekhar is likely to preside over the signing of MoU between State Govt, Union Govt and A Global Major on imparting skill and employability to the youth.
