In the 38th edition of the Mukhyamantri Samipeshu, citizens from various parts of the state met Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha to seek assistance regarding their grievances and issues.
The programme, held at the Chief Minister’s official residence, saw direct interactions between the people and the Chief Minister, who provided immediate help and instructed officials to take necessary steps for long-term solutions.
During the session, individuals approached the Chief Minister with concerns related to medical treatment, social allowances, employment, and land disputes.
The Chief Minister took swift action, directing concerned officials to ensure appropriate solutions for each case.
One of the attendees, Shankar Chakraborty from East Police Station Lane, Agartala, an unemployed cancer patient also suffering from hernia, sought financial assistance for his treatment and to support his family. Responding promptly, the Chief Minister directed the Superintendent of Atal Bihari Vajpayee Regional Cancer Hospital to provide Chakraborty with necessary medical treatment, including free medicines.
Similarly, Rupa Saha from Master Para, Agartala, suffering from congenital diseases, received assurances from the Chief Minister, who arranged for her free medicines and physiotherapy through the Deputy Medical Superintendent of GB Hospital.
Shipra Roy Saha of Melarmath also approached the Chief Minister for her husband's medical treatment, and he assured her of necessary assistance. Mantosh Chowdhury of Dhaleshwar, who raised his concerns, also received assurance of a solution from the Chief Minister.
Additionally, several others, including Sandhya Das of Bhati Abhaynagar, Shankar Chandra Das of Bhatt Pukur, Joy Sarkar of South amnagar, and Manish Deb of Pathaliabari in Takarjala, approached the Chief Minister seeking help for medical treatment.
After reviewing their medical documents, the Chief Minister instructed the Deputy Medical Superintendent of GB Hospital to take necessary steps for their treatment.
Present at the event were Chief Minister’s Secretary Dr. PK Chakraborty, Additional Secretary of the Health and Family Welfare Department Rajib Dutta, Director of the Social Welfare and Social Education Department Tapan Kumar Das, Medical Superintendent of Atal Bihari Vajpayee Regional Cancer Hospital Dr. Shiromani Debbarma, and Deputy Medical Superintendent of GB Hospital Dr. Kanak Chowdhury.
The Mukhyamantri Samipeshu continues to serve as an effective platform for addressing public grievances, with Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha reaffirming his commitment to providing direct assistance to those in need across the state.
