BJP National President JP Nadda on Saturday praised the exemplary efforts of Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha in spearheading the state's development and tirelessly working for the welfare of its people.
During addressing a massive gathering at South District in Tripura, Nadda highlighted the remarkable transformation witnessed in Tripura under Dr. Manik Saha's leadership, emphasizing the substantial progress made in infrastructure development.
“Once a time when merely 12km of national highways were built in a day, Tripura now boasts an impressive 29km per day. In the last nine years alone a staggering 54,000km of national highways have been constructed nationwide with Tripura contributing around 300km in the last six years”, said Nadda.
Furthermore, Nadda mentioned the invaluable contributions of Prime Minister Modi and Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, who presented the gift of the Agartala-Sabroom national highway, while six more national highways are currently under construction. These developments not only enhance connectivity but also shorten travel time from Agartala to Kolkata through the completion of the Agartala-Akahura Railway link.
“People of Tripura have seen how CPIM ruled the state but now people are witnessing how Chief Miniser Dr Manik Saha under the leadership of PM Modi is working and for this Tripura is progressing in a very fast way in terms of development”, Nadda added.
