NITA hands over portable air pollution measuring device to ISRO

AGARTALA:

National Institute of Technology Agartala (NITA) has handed over an Air Pollution Measuring Instrument to ISRO. The handing over ceremony was held today during a function on behalf of NIT Agartala.

Prof. Harish Kumar Sharma, Director of NIT Agartala, handed over the device to the representative of ISRO at the event. Under the supervision of NIT Agartala Electronics and Communication Engineering Department Assistant Professor Dr. Mitravarun Sarkar this small and portable air pollution measuring device has been developed.

Professor Harish Kumar Sharma, Director of NIT Agartala welcomed everyone on this occasion.

While discussing about the device Dr Mitravarun Sarkar said that this invented device will be available at a much lower price. The price of this device, which can be carried anywhere, will be cost around Rs 10,000.

ISRO representative N. Sudhir Kumar, Dr. SP Agarwal spoke on the occasion. Dean of NIT Agartala Ajay Kumar Das gave a speech of thanks.
