Tripura Police and BSF today jointly seized 200 kgs of cannabis and arrested one person from Madhupur.
The incident occurred in Radhanagar 1 ward area under Madhupur police station. According to the police of Madhupur police station, the police of Madhupur police station and jawans of BSF 150 stationed at Kamalasagar conducted a raid at Zubar Ali's house in Radhanagar based on a tip-off.
A total of 200 kg of dry cannabis was recovered in 9 sacks during the operation. The owner of the house Zubar Ali was also arrested. Madhupur police station registered a case under NDPS section and started investigation. Police believe many others are involved. The names of the rest will come out in the sound investigation.
