Under the Jal Jeevan Mission, 6 lakh 30 thousand 319 houses in the rural areas of the state have been connected with pipeline drinking water supply so far. Under this mission, from November 1 to November 10, 670 houses in rural areas of the state have been connected to drinking water through pipe lines.
The nodal officer of the Drinking Water and Sanitation Department provided this information detailing that there were 29 connection in North Tripura district, 11 in Unkoti district, 41 in Dhalai district, 179 in Khowai district, 113 in West Tripura district, 185 in Sepahijala district, 48 in Gomati district and 64 in South Tripura district have been connected to drinking water through pipe lines.
