Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha on Saturday said that the people of Tripura have extended massive support to the BJP for the overall development of the country.
He emphasized that Prime Minister Narendra Modi symbolizes trust and faith among people from all sections of the nation.
"People want to see Narendra Modi as Prime Minister for the third time because under his able leadership, the country is progressing rapidly towards development goals, becoming stronger. One of the BJP-led government's objectives is the development of all, and for that, people have extended massive support to the BJP," Dr. Saha remarked.
He said this while participating in a large road show organized at Chailengta in the Longtharai Valley sub-division on Saturday in support of BJP candidate Kriti Singh Debbarma.
Later, Dr. Saha mentioned that wherever he goes during the election campaign, he receives spontaneous responses from the people.
"People are supporting the BJP for the overall development of the country and the state. There has been a widespread outpouring of support across the state. People have strongly backed us in the West Tripura constituency as well as in the East Tripura seat," he added.
Youth Affairs and Sports Minister Tinku Roy, Chawmanu MLA Shambhulal Chakma, youth leader Nabadal Banik, along with top leadership at the district and mandal levels, were present during this election campaign.
