The vibrant Pilak Art and Tourism Festival is set to take place from January 19 to 21 on the grounds of West Pilak Class XII School. A preparatory meeting to ensure the smooth conduct of the event was held today at the same venue, bringing together key officials and dignitaries.
The meeting, presided over by West Pilak Panchayat President Manibala Das, was attended by Cooperative Minister Shuklacharan Noatia, South Tripura Zilla Parishad President Deepak Dutta, Jolaibari Panchayat Samity Chairman Tapas Dutta, Zilla Parishad Member Nitish Debnath, Shantirbazar Subdivision Magistrate Krishna Chandra Gupta, Jolaibari Block BDO Manas Bhattacharya and officials from various departments.
The three-day festival will feature exhibition pavilions showcasing initiatives of various government departments. Additionally, cultural programs organized by the Information and Culture Department will entertain attendees every evening.
The Pilak Art and Tourism Festival aims to celebrate the rich heritage and cultural diversity of South Tripura while promoting tourism in the region. Local authorities and organizers are working together to ensure the festival is a grand success.
