Pradyot calls to stand up against growing communal violence in Tripura

AGARTALA:

Expressing his concern over the escalating communal violence in the state of Tripura, the TIPRA Motha Chief Pradyot Kishore Deb Burman on Saturday called the youth body of his party to stand up against it and promote peace and unity.

In his audio message on Saturday in his social media handle, Pradyot called on the youth to protest peacefully but firmly against injustice, corruption and violence. He condemned the escalating communal violence and observed that such incidents are being hatched to distract the people from the critical issues like development, employment and unity.

He however reiterated that the TIPRA Motha party was founded to fight for the constitutional rights of Tripura’s indigenous people.
