A new building of Kanthalia branch of Tripura Gramin Bank was inaugurated today by Union Minister of State Pratima Bhoumik. Bank General Manager Shishir Kumar Rahotgi, Zila Saha Sabhadhipati Pintu Aich, Kanthalia Panchayat Samiti Chairperson Pushpa Bhowmik Debnath, Branch Manager of Kanthalia Branch Abhishek Ghosh, Jeet Bhattacharya from Main Branch were present.
On the occasion of the opening of the new building of the Kanthalia branch today, Tripura Gramin Bank gave a total of Rs 279.27 lakh to 110 borrowers. Out of this, Rs 112.23 lakh was given to 41 people in Dhanpur branch, Rs 58.7 lakh to 20 people in Kanthalia branch, Rs 85.66 lakh to 31 people in Sonamura branch and Rs 22.68 lakh to 18 people in Monaipathar branch.

It is noted that due to the inconvenience of the customers in the old building of the Kanthalia branch, the bank today shifted the branch to the new building in Navkalebar.
