QR codes for Flora launched to help students learn more about biodiversity

AGARTALA:

Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha on Tuesday launched a QR code for Flora, which is designed to provide detailed information about each plant, helping students learn more about biodiversity and promoting awareness about ecological conservation.

The Chief Minister launched the QR code on the occasion of World Earth Day and emphasised the collective responsibility of making the planet greener and more vibrant.

The 'QR Codes for Flora' is an initiative under the Eco Clubs for Mission LiFE program and is launched at Amtali Higher Secondary School.

As part of the week-long activities, the campaign involves tagging various plants within school campuses with QR codes. Dr Saha lauded the initiative as a meaningful step towards integrating environmental education with technology and urged students and teachers to take and active part in protecting the environment.
