Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha on Tuesday chaired a review meeting of draft Tripura School Quality Assessment and Accreditation Framework (TSQAAF), held here at the Secretariat.
Education Department Special Secretary Raval Hemendra Kumar, Secondary and Primary Education Department Director N C Sharma, SCERT Director L Darlong, AND other officials of SCERT were present in the meeting.
In the meeting, the main contents of the draft Tripura School Quality Assessment and Accreditation Framework were discussed in detail.
During the meeting, the Chief Minister said that the state government has always given priority to quality education. In addition to developing better education infrastructure, importance should be given to evaluating the overall level of education through continuous review.
The Chief Minister also mentioned that necessary effective initiatives should be taken by the concerned department to ensure that the students get good results. In the meeting, the Chief Minister asked the stakeholders to submit a detailed report on the implementation of the first phase of the pilot project of Tripura School Quality Assessment and Accreditation Framework in Dhalai and South Tripura districts, so that success and challenges can be properly assessed.
In the meeting, Education Department Special Secretary Raval Hemendra Kumar outlined the draft Tripura School Quality Assessment and Accreditation Framework (TSQAAF) in detail. He said that through the Tripura School Quality Assessment and Accreditation Framework, it will be possible to identify educational and infrastructural problems and deficiencies in school complexes and take appropriate remedial measures. The special secretary said that it is targeted to launch the Tripura School Quality Assessment and Accreditation Framework (TSQAAF) in the state soon.
