The Supreme Court has scheduled a special Lok Adalat week from July 29 to August 3, during which 34 cases from Tripura are set for hearing.
Jhuma Datta Chowdhury, the member secretary of Tripura State Legal Services Authority, stated that the pre-Lok Adalat conciliation process has commenced in Tripura as per the Supreme Court's directive, ahead of the final hearings.
"The process began yesterday and will continue until July 10 at the offices of the South District Legal Services Authority, West District Legal Services Authority and the High Court Legal Services Committee. All parties involved in the cases have been notified and arrangements for video conference participation in the pre-Lok Adalat conciliation hearings are available if needed," she added.
