A daylong seminar was held on Regulation of medicine price by NPPA and introduction of “Pharma Sahi Daam” on May 27 last here at Agartala Geetanjali tourism guest house.
The Tripura State Pharmaceutical Price Monitoring and Resource Unit jointly with the Drugs Control Office of Agartala had organised the seminar. MLA Sambhulal Chakma, MLA Manab Debbarma, Deputy Drugs Controller K. Sinha, Assistant Professor Pharmacy Department, Tripura University Pratap Chandra Acharya and Project Coordinator, Tripura State Pharmaceutical Price Monitoring and Resource Unit Dibakar Pal among others were present in the seminar.
Issues related to drug pricing and regulation, use, benefits of ‘Pharma Sahi Daam’ mobile app, and how this app can help you in checking the price of medicines while buying medicines in one’s daily life were mainly discussed in the seminar.
