Tripura's Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury announced plans to acquire noiseless boats for key water bodies in popular tourist spots across the state. He highlighted ongoing projects, recently reviewed by Union Minister of State, Suresh Gopi, who also discussed upcoming development initiatives.
"In today's meeting, the MoS emphasized not just Tripura but the holistic tourism development of Northeast India," said Chowdhury.
"Under Sourav Ganguly's ambassadorship for Tripura Tourism, tourist footfalls have surged, boosting revenue. We plan to introduce noiseless boats at Neermahal due to current boat inadequacies for tourists. Similar enhancements are slated for Chabi Mura, Narkel Kunja and other sites. Neermahal will see further development with ample funding support, as emphasized by PM Modi's commitment to tourism development."
