Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu has emphasized that sports are an integral part of life, instilling a competitive spirit in individuals. He also stated that sports play a crucial role in taking up the challenge of fulfilling dreams and goals in life.
Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu made these remarks while inaugurating the Asian 16 and Under Ranking Junior Tennis Tournament at the State Tennis Complex, located adjacent to Agartala Malancha Niwas.
The tournament has been organized under the initiative of the Tripura Tennis Association.
During the inauguration, Governor Nallu encouraged the participating players to strive hard to achieve their dreams. He expressed hope that one day they would represent the country in major sporting events and bring pride to the nation. The Governor extended his gratitude to the Tripura Tennis Association for organizing this tournament and later took the opportunity to meet the players, including those from Nepal who participated in the competition.
The opening ceremony was attended by the Secretary of the Youth Affairs and Sports Department, PK Chakraborty, Governor's Secretary UK Chakma, Tripura Tennis Association President Bidhan Roy, Vice President Pranab Chowdhury and others.
