The Pradesh BJP today stated that the current state government consistently prioritizes the welfare of the people, with a focus on development and progress.
Addressing a press conference, BJP spokesperson Subrata Chakraborty said that although lakhs of people have been affected by the floods, Tripura Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha has announced relief measures and is taking steps to assist the flood-affected victims.
“Apart from this, the state government has also introduced several initiatives for unemployed youths as well as those already employed. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has extended support for flood relief efforts and has spoken with the Tripura CM. We are hopeful that they will take the necessary steps to restore normalcy in Tripura. We, in the Tripura BJP, would like to express our thanks and gratitude. Meanwhile, the Chief Ministers of Assam, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, and others have also offered their support,” said Chakraborty.
He further mentioned that the results of the JRBT exams conducted last year will be declared on September 8. In the Home Department, 1,000 police officers have been recruited and an additional 900 constables will be recruited soon. In the Tripura State Legal Services, around 42 vacant posts have been filled. In the Government Music College, 23 music instructors will be hired. In the Industry and Commerce Department, 9 people will be recruited and in the Urban Development Department, 19 UD Clerks and 23 Development Officers will be appointed. Moreover, the Chief Minister has announced a one-time financial aid of Rs 4,000 for construction workers.
"All these actions demonstrate that this government is truly a government for the people and consistently stands by them during difficult times. This government always prioritizes development and progress. We want to extend our gratitude to Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha and all the cabinet ministers,” he added.
