Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha, Saturday launched Mukhyamantri Sustho Shaishob, Sustho Kaishore Abhiyan (MSSSKA) 4.0 campaign at Sabroom in South Tripura district and said that the MSSSKA is playing a very significant role in the state in development health human resources.
The state aims to cover 12 lakh children under this campaign. On the occasion, the Chief Minister appreciated the active role of Balikamanch in South Tripura district to prevent child marriage and teenage pregnancy.
The state Health and Family Welfare Department, Education Department and Social Welfare and Social Education Department jointly organised the event on Saturday.
Health and Family Welfare Department Secretary Dr. Debashish Basu, National Health Mission, Additional Secretary Shubashish Das, Director of Health Department Dr. Shuvashish Debvarma, Director of Family Welfare and Disease Prevention Department. Radha Debvarma, among others were present in the event.
The Chief Minister, during his visit at Sabroom on Saturday also held a review meeting with district and sub-divisional officials at the conference hall of Sabroom Nagar Panchayat. In the meeting, the Chief Minister inquired about the various developmental works of the district from the secretaries, directors, officials of all the departments.
