In unfortunate incidents the state has recorded as many as five deaths including four suicides in last 24 hours.
As per police, a student of class 10 committed suicide by consuming poison in Kakraban in Udaipur sub-division of Gomati district. The name of the deceased is identified as Trishna Namah. Janadhan Namah, the father of the deceased said that on Sunday Trishna reportedly bought poison and chose to commit suicide. Later, when the family members noticed the matter, they took her to Kakraban Hospital. From there the doctor on duty referred her to GB Pant Hospital, she died midway.
In Sonamura, the charred body of a housewife was found in an abandoned toilet of her father's house at seven in the today morning. The incident occurred in Sonamura Madhuban College Road area. The deceased woman has been identified as Sudipa Saha (32). Sudipar's charred body was recovered from the abandoned toilet. The police of Sonamura police station started investigating the incident. 12 years ago, Sudipa fell in love and married a young man. 3 years ago, the husband-wife relationship broke up. Then she moved to her father;s house. She was reportedly suffering from depression after her divorce with her husband. In the meantime, Sudipa's charred body was recovered from the abandoned toilet of her father's house on Monday morning. A police officer of Sonamura police station said that samples have been collected by forensic experts at the scene for proper investigation. An unusual death case has been registered and an investigation has been started.
In Gandhigram, the hanging body of an employee of the Information and Cultural Affairs Department named Debajyoti Debnath was recovered from a forest in Gandhigram. The house of the deceased is in Amtali area. According to the details of the incident, he left his father-in-law's house in Champamura Nath Para to go to Rabindra Bhavan after receiving a call from his colleagues. He told his wife that there is an office function at Rabindra Bhavan.
At night on the way home from the function, he called his wife and informed that he would not return to his father-in-law's house today. On Monday morning, the police called Debjyoti's father-in-law's mobile phone and said that the hanging body of Debjyoti has been recovered. Then the people at my father-in-law's house identified the dead body. Meanwhile, a person close to Debajyoti alleged that two office colleagues used to receive Rs 7 lakhs from Debajyoti.
The close relative alleged that they killed Debajyoti. The names of the two accused are Bhutto and Tapas.
A 16-year-old minor, identified as Sudhan Debnath, hailing from Bishalgarh's Ratnanagar area, has died in yet another road accident. He was going to Bhai Mechanical's work on Sunday afternoon with a bicycle when a passenger bus hit him hard on the road. He was rushed to hospital where doctors declared him dead.
