On Tuesday, Tripura confirmed the detection of four additional COVID-19 cases, bringing the cumulative tally in the state to 108,070, as reported by the health department's bulletin.
These new cases emerged from 910 samples subjected to RT-PCR tests within the last 24 hours, resulting in a daily infection rate of 0.44 percent.
Currently, there are 13 active cases in the state, with 107,046 individuals having successfully recovered from the virus, leading to an impressive recovery rate of 99.05 percent.
The COVID-19 related death toll in Tripura stands at 940.
Notably, all four new cases originated in the West Tripura district, while the remaining seven districts reported no fresh infections. Despite a consistently low caseload in recent months, the state remains vigilant in its efforts to monitor and manage the impact of the pandemic.
