The ruling BJP party sounded confident of the ruling party bettering its seats tally in the 2023 Assembly elections with the successive end of the party’s ‘Jana Biswas Yatra’.
Addressing the media persons here at the party office on Friday, the BJP state president Rajib Bhattacharjee said, “The Jana Biswas Yatra which started from January 5 last and ended on January 12, could connect as many as 15 lakhs people across the state.”
“We can say that the BJP is moving towards securing a bigger win in the ensuing 2023 assembly election with the blessing of the people of this state,” he told reporters.
Briefing the party’s mobilisation through the ‘Jana Biswas Yatra’ the BJP chief Rajib Bhattacharjee said, “We have got massive response from the general people of this state while we were holding our Jana Biswas Yatra for the last seven days. During our yatra we mainly focused on highlighting the achievement of the 5 years of the BJP government in Tripura and also, we apprised the people of the initiatives taken by the Modi government at the centre for the development of Tripura.”
Meanwhile, on asked about the development in the state politics ahead of the assembly election over the TIPRA Motha inviting BJP’s ally IPFT for unity on intensifying ‘Greater Tipraland’ demand, the BJP’s state president Rajib Bhattacharjee said, “We are already in coalition with the IPFT and the BJP is strong enough to win bigger in the ensuing election."
