The organizers of the Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, have invited Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury to attend the holy event, which will take place from January 13 to February 26.
On Facebook, Minister Chowdhury shared his thoughts about the event, calling it one of the largest religious fairs in the world, attended by millions of devotees from across the globe.
“The Maha Kumbh, held every 12 years, will be organized in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, from January 13 to February 26 this year. I am honored to have been invited by the organizers to attend this grand event, and I extend my heartfelt gratitude to all those involved. The uniqueness of the Maha Kumbh lies not just in its size but also in its remarkable diversity,” he said.
Minister Chowdhury expressed his belief that this year’s Maha Kumbh Mela will elevate the spiritual and cultural identity of the nation to greater heights. He also emphasized that this grand ‘Maha Yajna’ of unity will be a subject of global admiration.
“Maha Kumbh is a living embodiment of the rich legacy of faith, spirituality, and culture in our country. I sincerely wish the Maha Kumbh Mela immense success,” he added.
