The Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) on Saturday announced results of ‘Bochor Bachao’ re-examination 2023. The re-examination was conducted for the students who flunked their board exams.
Announcing the result through a press conference here at the board office, the TBSE president Dr. Dhananjoy Gan Chowdhury said that the pass percentage for Madhyamik is 61% while in Higher Secondary the pass percentage is 82%.
3797 students out of total 4258 students appeared for the ‘Bochor Bachao’ re-examination in Madhyamik, where a total of 2343 students passed the re-examination and the rest 1453 failed, he said, adding that a total of 4,186 appeared for the HS re-examination under Bochor Bachao this year, out of which 3434 students passed and the rest 752 failed.
The board president however informed that the students who failed the Bochor Bachao re-examination, will be allowed to sit for compartmental examinations to be held next year in 2024.
