Three arrested with contraband in Dharmanagar

In a commendable operation, the Tripura Police apprehended three drug peddlers and seized contraband items worth lakhs of rupees from Kalibari Dighi in Dharmanagar.

Acting on confidential information, the North District Police, under the leadership of Superintendent Bhanupada Chakraborty, successfully apprehended three individuals from Kalibari Dighi in Dharmanagar.

The seized items included 6.5 grams of heroin and 1400 yaba tablets. The motorcycle with the registration number TR 05 C 6442 was also impounded.

The arrested individuals have been identified as Abdul Osud (18), Kabil Ahmed (25), and Sribas Nath (26), all residents of Dharmanagar. This successful operation by the police followed the earlier arrest of Sanjib Kalua (30) from Rajbari in Dharmanagar.

During the interrogation, Sanjib provided crucial details, leading to the subsequent arrest of the three individuals.
