Three Ayushman Arogya Mandirs (Sub-Health Centres) in North Tripura district have been awarded the prestigious National Quality Assurance Standards (NQAS) certification by the Union Health Ministry.
The certified facilities include Bilthai and West Panisagar Ayushman Arogya Mandirs under Panisagar Sub-Divisional Hospital, and Makumchhara Ayushman Arogya Mandir under Laljuri Primary Health Centre.
The certification is granted to health facilities that score more than 70 percent in the final assessment and meet all required criteria set under the NQAS framework. This achievement highlights the commitment of these centres to providing quality healthcare services.
Established in 2012, Bilthai, West Panisagar, and Makumchhara Ayushman Arogya Mandirs have consistently worked towards improving healthcare delivery. The recent recognition is a testament to their excellence in quality assessment of health services.
Health workers at these facilities include Community Health Officer Rupali Nath and MPW Tapan Nath at Bilthai Ayushman Arogya Mandir, Community Health Officer Soma Das and MPW Ananta Chandra Nath at West Panisagar Ayushman Arogya Mandir, and Community Health Officer Sunil Debbarma and MPW Rahul Deb at Makumchhara Ayushman Arogya Mandir. Their dedicated service has been instrumental in achieving the certification.
A recent inspection team from the Union Health Ministry visited the three facilities to assess their adherence to quality standards. Following the announcement of their certification, Dr. Dipankar Bhushan Debbarma, Sub-Divisional Health Officer of Panisagar Sub-Divisional Hospital, and Dr. Sayan Bhattacharya, In-charge of Laljuri Primary Health Centre, congratulated the health workers for their hard work and commitment.
