The North District Superintendent of Police, Avinash Rai has suspended three Constables of Tripura Police for gross misconduct and indiscipline activities.
In an order, the SP Avinash Rai said that a disciplinary proceeding against Shibu Datta, Pranab Kumar Singh and Dhiraj Nath of North Tripura District is being contemplated for gross misconduct/indiscipline activities.
“Now therefore, the undersigned, in exercise of the power conferred by Sub-rule (1) of Rule 10 of the CCS (CCA) Rules, 1965, hereby placed C/15047 Shibu Datta, C/14235 Pranab Kumar Singh, & C/14287 Dhiraj Nath of North Tripura District under suspension with effect from the afternoon of 10.02.2025”, the order said.
The order reads that during the period of suspension, head quarter of the aforementioned constables shall be at Police Lines, Huplong, Dharmanagar in North District and they will abide by the rules and regulations, discipline of the Police force and shall attend daily Roll call at Police Lines, Huplong.
“They will not leave the head quarters without prior permission from the undersigned. They shall be provided subsistence allowance as entitled during the period of suspension”, it added.
