In a devastating incident on the Assam Agartala National Highway, a head-on collision between a long-haul lorry and a passenger-laden vehicle has left five individuals injured. The collision occurred in the Bankumari area of Baramura Hill, shaking the tranquil stretch of the highway.

Meanwhile, a long-distance lorry originating from Agartala was making its journey towards Teliamura. Eyewitnesses immediately alerted the Teliamura fire brigade, which swiftly dispatched their personnel to the scene. Subsequently, the injured were expedited to Teliamura Sub-Divisional Hospital for further medical attention.
