Chief Minister Prof. Dr Manik Saha on Monday said under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the present government has ushered in a remarkable era of governance free from the taint of corruption.
He also said that the days of scandals and malfeasance that plagued the previous governments are now firmly in the past, as PM Modi's government exemplifies the true essence of transparency.
While addressing media on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 9 years, the Chief Minister Dr Saha said Prime Minister Narendra Modi always thinks himself a sevak and for this he always engaged himself in work for the poor people and the government is also spending money for the benefit of the poor people.
“Prime Minister Modi is working to run a corruption free government. Earlier governments meant scams and corruption. Another name of transparent government is PM Modi’s government. Because of Prime Minister Narendra Modi people of the country have received double vaccines during vaccination and because of him we are alive. Starting from the Janata curfew, PM Modi has taken various steps to save the people from Covid”, said CM Dr Saha.
While talking about providing pucca houses, the CM said in the history of independent India, such a revolution in housing construction for the poor had never been seen before.
The CM has informed that during his visit to Delhi, the union civil aviation minister Jyotiraditya Scindia has informed him that international flight services would start from Agartala to Chittagong by July.
“PM has worked for the increase and stability of the economy even during Covid. The national highways have also increased in the state at a time when we have one lifeline. Without PM Modi development is not possible and no one can think of it. He always keeps himself busy for the welfare and development of the people. No one thought of waterways earlier but now we Tripura have waterways. Because of the Act east policy all the Northeastern states including Tripura were benefitted as we got HIRA model. The PM always said that development of India is not possible without developing the Northeast”, said the CM.
