The 35th Industry and Commerce Fair is scheduled to begin from January 29 next year here at Agartala Hapania International Fair Ground. The 15-day long fair will continue till February 12.
The decision was taken on Tuesday in the first preparatory meeting chaired by the Industry and Commerce Minister Santana Chakma in the conference hall of the secretariat.
Minister Santana Chakma sought cooperation from all stakeholders to make the fair successful. The minister emphasized on making the fair more attractive for everyone.
In the meeting, Director of Industry and Commerce Department Vishwasree B. informed in detail about the pre-preparations and measures taken by the department to make the 35th Tripura Industry and Commerce Fair a success.
The director said that special importance will be given to the service sector, especially information and technology, tourism, hospitality, logistics etc. in the fair. Besides, the rubber and bamboo fields of the state will also be highlighted in the fair, he said, adding that the fair will also have food court, theme pavilion. Besides, cultural programs will also be organized under the management of the Information and Culture Department, he added.
