The council of ministers of the BJP led coalition government has decided to fill up at least 1566 vacant posts of undergraduate and graduate teacher.
Briefing the reporters regarding the cabinet meeting on Friday evening, the cabinet spokesperson Minister Sushanta Chowdhury said that the cabinet has decided to fill up 1,566 posts of undergraduate and graduate teachers under the Department of School Education. This includes 1,099 undergraduate teaching posts and 467 graduate teaching posts, he told reporters. He said that the recruitment process will be done through TRBT.
The cabinet has also approved recruitment of 198 junior engineers through Tripura Public Service Commission, he said, adding that the cabinet also approved recruitment of 112 special educators for Vidya Jyoti Schools and 151 warders, including 14 female positions. Additionally, 112 staff positions in the jail department were approved with 33% reservation for females, including wardens, he said.
