Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Friday claimed that the government is committed to the enhancement of the livelihood of the people belonging to the tribal communities in the state. He said that the government had sent a proposal to the Centre to rename the TTAADC as Tipra Territorial Council.
Addressing Labhyarti Sanmelan at Dhanpur Assembly Constituency on Friday, the Chief Minister Dr. Saha said, “Special emphasis has been laid in the state’s budgetary allocation for the development of the tribal communities.”
“The people of this state had shown their overwhelming support to the government and different schemes as a major section of beneficiaries of this state are happy with the schemes initiated by the government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” he said.
He further mentioned that during the financial years 2023-24, a significant amount of funds have been allocated for infrastructure development to attract investors.
“Prime Minister Modi has brought significant development to the Northeast, which was neglected by previous governments. Our Tripura government is also committed to working transparently, and this has earned us the support of the people,” he reiterated.
