In yet another move to boost the education sector of the state, the Tripura cabinet has given a nod for recruitment of at least 118 PGT Computer Science teachers in various Vidyajyoti schools of the state, said cabinet minister Sushanta Chowdhury on Wednesday.
Briefing the reporters about the cabinet decision taken on Tuesday last, the minister on Wednesday evening said that the cabinet has given a nod to fill up at least 153 vacant posts in the Department of Education and the Department of Food, Public Procurement and Consumer Affairs.
The Cabinet meeting has decided to fill 35 Senior Store Guard (Group-C) vacancies in the Department of Food, Public Procurement and Consumer Affairs, he told reporters. He said that senior store guard posts will be appointed through JRBT.
