Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Tuesday inaugurated 28th foundation day of Bhavans Tripura Vidyamandir here at Agartala Narshingarh school campus and said that the government has taken multifaceted steps for overall development of the education sector in the state.
“Priority has been given to ensure quality education for all students of the state through development of educational infrastructure,” Dr. Saha said.
The Chief Minister praised the education system of the Bhavans Tripura Vidyamandir and claimed that having its branches in the country and abroad, the school imparts education with values and trends of Indian culture.
He said, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi often says that those who have knowledge will have the world in their hands. The central government under the leadership of the Prime Minister is working to take the country forward in various fields including the education sector.”
Chief Minister urged the parents to have confidence in the education system of the educational institutions without increasing the inclination of their children towards private tuition.
On the occasion, Director of Bhavans Tripura G B Subramaniam said that Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan was established in 1938 and since its inception, this institution has been working on the three main themes of values education, cultural activities and social service.
AMC Mayor Dipak Majumder, Principal of the school Swapna Some, Chairman Debashish Chakraborty and others were present in the programme.
