TRIPURA: Higher Secondary examination records 99.28% attendance

The Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) run Higher Secondary examination has begun in the state of Tripura from Monday amid tight security across the state.

Higher Secondary, Madrasa Fazil Arts and Madrasa Fazil Theology English exams concluded peacefully, said TBSE president Dr Dhananjoy Gan Chowdhury. The board president visited the examination centers of Bijoykumar Higher Secondary Girls School, Netaji Subhash Vidyaniketan, Bani Vidyapith Higher Secondary Girls School and Pragati Vidya Bhavan.

The board president informed that this year 99.28% attendance were recorded in the higher secondary examination. The examinations were conducted in 60 centres across the state, he said, adding that 9,697 male and 11,364 female students appeared for the examinations on Monday.
