TSECL Finance and other Employees Association organized a highly successful Voluntary Blood Donation Camp at the Agartala Press Club. The inauguration ceremony was graced by Minister of Power Department, Ratanlal Nath, who commended the initiative and the selfless spirit of the blood donors.
The event saw the presence of MD Debashish Sarkar of Tripura State Electricity Corporation Limited and other officials from the power department, who lauded the efforts of the association and the press club in orchestrating the blood donation drive.
Minister Ratan Lal Nath, in his inaugural address, proudly announced that Tripura state is leading the nation in blood donation, emphasizing the positive indication of social awareness and responsibility among the people. He acknowledged the dual role of government employees, engaging in both social service and official duties, and called for collective cooperation to propel the country and the state forward.
Expressing gratitude to all blood donors, Minister Nath hailed blood donation as a priceless gift with no substitute, underscoring that lives are saved through this noble act. He urged more individuals to step forward and contribute to this life-saving cause.
Following the inauguration, Minister Ratan Lal Nath and other dignitaries visited the blood donation camp, engaging with donors and distributing certificates and refreshments as tokens of appreciation. The camp witnessed substantial participation and successful blood donations, prompting expressions of gratitude from the association and the press club towards the minister, officials, and donors for their unwavering support and cooperation.
