Although the government on Monday announced shutdown of all government and government aided schools in Tripura due to the soaring temperature, the ongoing Madhyamik and Higher Secondary examination across the state shall continue as per the schedule of the Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE).
The board chairman Dr. Bhabatosh Saha on Monday said that the Madhyamik examination for vocational subject will be held on April 18 as per the schedule in total 108 schools across the state, whereas the Higher Secondary examinations scheduled on April 19 next will continue as per the schedule in a total 23 schools across the state.
The scheduled examinations for Madhyamik and Higher Secondary will continue as per the schedule on April 18 and April 19 amid the week-long shutdown of schools announced by the government due to the prevailing heat wave conditions, he told reporters in a press conference on Monday.
As per the schedule of the TBSE, the Class 10 Madhyamik and Madrasa Alim examinations had begun from March 16 and will continue till April 18, whereas the Class 12 Higher Secondary examination and Madrasa Fazil exams started from March 15 will continue till April 19 next.
