Tripura UPSC aspirant receives Lakshya-Chief Minister's Special Scholarship

AGARTALA:

Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha on Thursday handed over Rs 5 lakh cheque to the Tripura’s UPSC aspirant Sagar Dutta Majumder as part of the Lakshya-Chief Minister's Special Scholarship.

Majumder cleared his mains and prelims of the UPSC examination. The scholarship programme of the government is applicable for the residents of Tripura who clear the UPSC Civil Services Prelims exam are eligible.

9 UPSC aspirants of the state have been benefited from this scheme since its inception till the financial year 2023-24. Among them, Shatabdi Majumder of Teliamura has been selected as IAS and Saurabh Das of Bishalgarh has been selected as IRS.
